Gadgets must support fourth-generation LTE networks and have a screen size of 4 to 5.5 inches. In total, they plan to purchase 500 such devices.
Already today, an electronic auction for the purchase of smartphones will take place with an initial contract amount of 4.2 million rubles. After the announcement of the results, the auction winner is obliged to deliver the devices by August 31st.
According to Margarita Gorsheneva, development director of the QBF investment company, among smartphones that meet the approved technical parameters, there are gadgets from such brands as Xiaomi, Meizu and Samsung.
The maximum allowable cost of smartphones for the State Duma has also been determined – no more than 8,300 rubles. MTS was chosen as the “service operator”. But the most interesting thing is that a number of parliamentarians openly stated that they do not plan to use work phones after the elections are over.
