How to descale the steamer

To clean the vertical steamer, first unscrew the hose, then remove the tank and unscrew the plug for cleaning the heating element, which is under the body. Water is poured into the hole where the hose was and the heated element is washed. Dirty water will flow out from under the bottom. After washing, twist the plug back. Once again, pour water into the hole from above and shake the unit. Then you need to turn the case over and drain the remnants.

The boiler is also washed even if there is no access to it inside, and at the bottom there is a huge layer of rust.

  1. It is necessary to unscrew the cork (at the base) and stick a rag into the container. Do not empty the water from the tank.
  2. Close the stopper and shake well. The rag will do its job – it will wash everything.
  3. Open the cork, remove the rag by prying it with a stick, and pour out the remaining water. The water container inside will become clean.

This is how the steamer is prevented, now it can continue to work. The main thing is to clean and rinse in a timely manner. You can add products for improved cleaning: turn on to steam, then turn off, unscrew the plug and rinse. Then it will serve uninterruptedly for years.

It is harmless to the unit, and cleans perfectly:

  • For half a liter of water, 1 large spoonful of lemons is calculated. The acidified liquid is poured into the tank.
  • Turn on the unit for the maximum possible heating, wait up to ten minutes and press the steam supply. Dross and slurry will come out with condensate, so it’s best to clean over a sink or bowl. It is necessary to supply steam until all the solution in the container has evaporated.
  • At the end, the device is rinsed under running water, the slightly cooled sprayer is wiped with a moistened cloth.

If deposits are still left after cleaning, the procedure should be repeated again. It is better not to run the steam cleaner to an ugly state. To prevent contamination, it must be cleaned in this way once a month.
