What’s in common?
In smartphones Lenovo A5000 and A6000 many basic characteristics are exactly the same. In particular, each of them is equipped with a 5-inch IPS display with HD resolution (1280 x 720 pixels), which is characterized by flawless color reproduction and impressive viewing angles that are close to 180 degrees and will help you watch videos with maximum comfort. Both devices use a quad-core processor MediaTek MT6582 with a clock frequency of 1.3 GHz, 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of flash memory with the possibility of expansion using a microSD card with a maximum volume of 32 GB. This means that regardless of your choice, the level of performance when running games/applications and browsing web pages will be quite high and you will not have to regret your choice.
Each of the two smartphones is equipped with two excellent cameras – the main 8-megapixel camera (a universal solution for high-quality shooting in any light) and the front 2-megapixel camera, which will provide you with good quality selfies and help the interlocutor see your face during a video conference. Also in A5000/A6000 an identical set of communication capabilities – there is Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth, GPS and a radio receiver (the last point is especially important for pensioners).
Both models work under the management of not the newest, but quite up-to-date version of the Android OS 4.4 Kitkat, which is supplemented by a significant number of installed applications. Among them are Guvera (opens unlimited and free online access to a million and a penny musical compositions), SHAREit (a program for sharing content with other mobile devices without connecting to the network) and Security antivirus.
They almost forgot: each of the two models can simultaneously work with two SIM cards, and such a solution will be in demand in almost every Ukrainian family.
What are the differences?
In comparison with A6000 model A5000 more functional. The manufacturer reminds us of this with the help of design, decorating the A5000 with an elegant silver edging, which the “younger brother” does not have. A special nano-coating protects the Lenovo A5000 screen from splashes and accidentally spilled drops of liquid, and the installed office application Kingstone Office will make you an absolute champion in remote work with documents. The battery capacity is also different: if the Lenovo A6000 uses the most ordinary 2300 mAh battery, the Lenovo A5000 is equipped with one of the best batteries in its class. Its capacity is 4000 mAh, with moderate use it will last up to three days without recharging, and the Quick Charge function allows you to fully charge the battery in just three hours. Moreover, a 15-minute charge of the A5000 will provide the smartphone with up to four hours of talk time.
