At the TechCrunch Disrupt conference, HTC CEO Yves Maitre said the company has “stopped innovating on smartphones.” HTC once held 11% of the smartphone market, and now it’s not even in the analytics companies’ calculations.

HTC has been losing money for five consecutive quarters. The company laid off 25% of its employees last year.
