Google I/O announced the Pixel 7 and 7 Pro, the Pixel Tablet, and the first watch in the Pixel line. Insiders have already reported that in addition to these devices, a foldable Pixel Fold is in development, and now Chinese leaker Digital Chat Station has revealed the development of a miniature smartphone, codenamed neila.
There are few details yet: the author only knows about a compact display with a hole for a selfie camera in the center and the same rear camera design as in Pixel 6 and 7.
Although Google is preparing a presentation on October 6, it is not known if the Pixel Mini will be part of the Pixel 7 lineup, or will be released in the eighth generation. Perhaps Google first wants to look at Apple’s sales after ditching 5.4-inch smartphones in favor of the more budget-friendly 6.7-inch iPhone 14 Plus.
