In the case of bare floors, a robot vacuum cleaner with a wet cleaning function is an indispensable thing. But if there are carpets or other textile coverings at home, then the robot has to be helped – the water supply function must be turned off, and the damp cloth removed. iRobot has tried to solve this problem with the new Roomba Combo j7 Plus.
This robot vacuum is able to switch between dry and wet cleaning by lifting a wet cloth so it doesn’t touch carpets. Microfiber is mounted on a special bar, which can be placed both under the robot and above it.
Roomba Combo j7 Plus is also able to recognize the dirt on the floor, including a more intensive cleaning mode. Simply put, he will devote a little more time to stains and stains, moving away from the standard work algorithm.
After cleaning, the robot automatically returns to its docking station, equipped with an automatic dust collector cleaning system. The 210 ml water tank is manually filled.
The battery capacity was 4400 mAh, which is enough for standard cleaning and for the operation of the lifting mechanism. All the features familiar to the flagships of the Roomba line, such as control through the application and support for voice commands, are present.
The iRobot Roomba Combo j7 Plus will cost $1,099 and will go on sale on October 4th.
