Video editor can be useful to any user. Suddenly you want to mount a video for social networks, make a mini-movie about a vacation or a cut from the bright moments of outdoor activities with friends.
Media.io’s free online app helps beginners quickly put together videos with music, captions, and pictures. It does not have complex effects, but basic tools are available.
It is advisable to register an account beforehand so that your projects and all changes to them are saved. You can start editing from scratch or select one of the templates on the Template tab. In Media.io, it will be possible to make a video not only with the standard aspect ratio of 16:9, but also square and vertical options for social networks – 9:16, 4:5 or 2:3.
Through the Media tab, add all the files you need. You can upload them from the device memory with the Upload button, paste them using a URL link, or make a record directly through the editor. The latter option is useful for creating videos with reviews or instructions for some programs. In this case, the contents of your screen are saved, as well as the signal from the webcam and microphone.
After loading materials for the project, transfer them to the tracks at the bottom of the window. In this editor, you can collect multi-layer videos by adjusting the transparency of each element. A small number of stickers and animated sound waves are available that sync to the audio track.
Over video tracks, you can overlay text, and then adjust the font properties. In addition, there is a separate tool that automatically generates subtitles in different languages. The Music tab has several background music tracks, as well as a small selection of sound effects.
Unload the finished project with the Export button. In the settings of the final file, you can select a resolution up to 1080p, the format is only MP4.
