As part of the annual Gamescom gaming exhibition, Sony showed the DualSense Edge wireless controller for the PlayStation 5. It is characterized by the possibility of personalization – the user can remap or disable certain buttons, as well as adjust the sensitivity of triggers and dead zones of the sticks.

If several people use the gamepad, then a profile with control settings can be made for each user.

DualSense Edge also received a special Fn function button, which allows you to quickly change the gamepad settings without leaving the game. This will be useful when, for example, you need to quickly change the parameters for shooting.

Also, the developers noted the presence of interchangeable stick caps that have a different shape, and the possibility of independent replacement of the sticks – they can be bought separately.
