The HUAWEI Mate Xs uses a flexible display that consists of two optically bonded polyamide layers, a material used in the aerospace industry, which makes the screen highly durable. But such “space technologies” have their price. Knowing the cost of the display, one ceases to be surprised that the smartphone costs 2499 euros, which is indescribably expensive at the current exchange rate.

The whole smartphone with batteries weighs 300 grams. How much exactly the display weighs is still unknown – unlike the first versions of the Galaxy Fold, no one has yet managed to tear off the screen from the Mate Xs. We can assume that it weighs at least 10 grams, which is also a lot.
