In the social network “VKontakte”, it became possible to enable the “Personal space” mode – a special set of settings that allows you to temporarily limit the circle of contacts, protecting yourself from unwanted interlocutors.
When this mode is enabled, the privacy settings of the page will change for a week:
- Only friends can write to the user, and only friends of friends can send requests to friends.
- The user profile will become private, and only friends will be able to add it to chats and tag in photos.
Seven days after activation, the mode is automatically turned off, if necessary, at the right time, it can be turned on again.
The “Private space” mode is activated in the privacy settings (“Week without unwanted attention”). Users who have left complaints about offensive materials from ill-wishers in their profiles will automatically be offered the algorithms to try the new feature.
