Xiaomi has been supplying smartphones and accessories to the Russian Federation for a long time, but has never officially supplied laptops. By the end of autumn this may change. Izvestia writes about this, citing a source in a partner company of the Chinese vendor.
Xiaomi’s plans to expand its presence in the Russian market were also confirmed by people cooperating with managers of several electronics manufacturers.
Now some Xiaomi laptops can be found in large retail chains and small online stores, but they are imported through parallel, and sometimes, perhaps, through “gray” imports.
Recall that this year some other Chinese computer brands announced their entry into the Russian market. So, in mid-July, it became known that the Haier Group concern would begin to supply laptops of its own Thunderobot brand to the country.
